Tonight on my local news (KXLY-ABC-4),there was a story about 3 men who were standing on a busy street intersection last evening. Two of the three men were Vets. The three had on them signs that read "Iraq is a quagmire." One gentlemen said a man in a Jeep pulled up and came after the men, and tried to rip their signs up. One man refused to let his sign be taken and as he held on to the sign, was knocked to the ground. After the scuffle the man in the Jeep got back in his car and drove away. The license plate number was given to local police and they are tracking the man down. In addition, the F.B.I. is investigating to see if the war protestors civil rights were violated, (duh!), which is a felony.
Incidents like this digust me. Two of the men are Vets, but I guess since they are voicing their right of free speech, which some others don't seem to like nowadays and especially under this administration, especially if one has a disenting view on this war, they are subject to attacks like this. I am outraged and apalled.

But are you the LEAST bit surprised? I'm certainly not.
