Being a die-hard Tigers fan I was overjoyed from the news out of motown this afternoon. Illitch hasn't given us tigers fans much to cheer about over the years but by far his dumbest mistake was firing old Ernie Harwell -- thank god he came to his senses and hired him back the very next year. Listening to the tigers on the radio is a fond memory of my yester-years and having ernie back for another season will lighten the burdon of another last place finish for my beloved tigers.

Ernie is coming back for one more year!
