As you probably know, at Phillies Gay Day I vowed that if/when the Phils made the playoffs that I would get my hair dyed blond. However, the blond fad seems to be fading. Tomas Perez, for one, already has his hair back to its normal color (and Todd Pratt has as well, I think). Besides, it all started with Tyler Houston, and we now know that he's evil. wink So it seems like it might not be appropriate. So, what do I do? If you have an alternate suggestion, please elaborate...

Hey, I'm the first to vote. Me, I'd bleach my hair for a lot less, but since you're an upstanding, responsible citizen, maybe you shouldn't. Wait to see how thick Anaconda's goatee gets, and take your cue from that.

You promised blond! You can't break that vow just because it's a silly fad that's fading.

You know, when they do make it to the playoffs, and you don't dye your hair blond, and they lose horribly in the first round, it'll be all your fault! You don't want that kind of shame on your head, do you?

Of course, there are many colors of the rainbow, most of which would require at least a temporary jaunt into blonde-dom for them to show up right.

I don't think one can be bound--legally or morally--to any promises made at a ballpark Gay Day and, anyway, going blond seems like it would be a whole lot of work. Whatever you choose, you'll be cute as can be.
