A group of protesters rallied outside a western Kentucky church in opposition to a seminar on prayer and AIDS.

About a dozen people gathered outside the Cedar Street Missionary Baptist Church in Owensboro on Sunday, where The Annual Black Church Week of Prayer for the Healing of AIDS took place. They carried signs that read "No mercy in hell," and "No civil rights for sodomites."

The worship service offered HIV testing at the end of the program. Cedar Street Missionary Baptist Church did not sponsor the event but offered the use of its building.

Like I'm so sure that Jesus would be out there with the protestors

speaking as a Christian, these people who consider themselves to be "Christians" are an embarrassment to the human race and to a greater extent God.

Amen, PewterPirate. These protesters are complete fools. They need to go home and read the Bible if they desire to be true Christians. Who are they to judge other humans? They are violating one of the Ten Commandments by passing judgement on other humans. When they protested and said those awful and hateful things, they were falsly passing judgement on those inside the church. By doing that, they usurped God's ulitmate authority of judgement. How dumb can these Bible thumpers be? Do they EVER read the book they spend so much time thumping? In the end, all they have to do is ask themselves "What Would Jesus Do"? Then they would realize, that by passing judgement, they are the ones that will burn forever in Hell.
