All is not paradise with Tony Blair and Goerge W. Bush anymore if it ever was. It has been revealed that Tony Blair and his closest inner circle are deeply angry and concerned with the way George Bush's policies are going in Iraq. I find it appalling that a Labour party government would become actively involved with the U.S. foreign policies. It is hurting the Labour party enormously. George Michaels portrayal of Bliar as a dog on a leash is pretty accurate but I don't want to insult the dog. Dubya and Bliar's immorall, substance abusing children won't be fighting in Iraq. And Bush was such a big Vietnam war supporter in the sixties and seventies but did not even show up at National Guard-the documents just vanished into thin air. The only major party making sense in Britain on the war is the Liberal Democrats.

Tony Blair lost all credibility by sucking off W for the past 2 years. I hope he gets tossed.

Okay, that was an image that I NEVER, EVER, EVER needed, thank you very much.
And Tony Blair has been SO shortsighted that it's been kind of frightening. He seems to have forgotten that Margaret Thatcher NEVER lost a general election in Britain. She was brought down by her OWN party. And Blair's backbenchers are PISSED!! He's sticking his foot into his own grave.

People have been saying Tony's going down for the last year. Not likely. Pissed backbenchers or not, where are voters going to turn? To Michael Howard and the Tories? I think not. To the Liberal Democrats? I think not. Blair may step down in favor of Gordon Brown (isn't that his name), but Labour will continue to lead Britain, at least for the near future--and I see Blair at the helm for a while as well, unless things take a severe turn for the worse either in Iraq or in Britain's relations and actions concerning the EU.

I guess Blair is now considered to be out of the loop. "Condi and Pres. Cheney, let the discrediting begin!"

I dont think Blair did the Labour party any favors by siding with Bush, but I dont think they had a choice. The UK is one of the last allies the US has that will actually go side by side with anything we do, stupid or otherwise.
Of course, this could be a sign that Brit political parties are moving to the right as much as America's are. Conservatism and the political right is overrated though. I hope everyone realizes this when they go to vote.
