I saw this creep on Larry King Live last week. What an arrogant prick. Ever hear of karma Gary??? I would say it found you my friend. He could not have been any more evasive in his "answers" to Larrys' questions. Stuttered and stammered his way through...He really thought he had a chance, yeah right..

I would have voted against him just because of the Woody Woodpecker haircut. Good riddance.

What's amazing is that he was re-elected so many times in the ultra-conservative SJ Valley. California is such a political oddity. The vast majority of Dems live in SF/Berkley and LA areas. The rest of the state seems to be contolled by the GOP, especially in San Diego and Orange Counties.

Condit was a founder of the Democratic "Blue Dogs" -- a wing of the party in the House which is more fiscally conservative than most of their colleagues. Most members are from the South and West. Of course, Blue Dogs also tend to be socially conservative as well, which really flies in the face of Condit's philandering and kinky tastes.

Indulge me a little self-promotion, but I do take a certain pride in reporting that I captured the GOP nomination for the 8th Congressional District election last night, beating my right wingnut GOP opponent 74% to 26%. I will face House Whip Nancy Pelosi in the November general election. I also won a fourth term on the SF GOP Central Committee and, by virtue of winning the Congressional nomination, am again a voting member of the California State GOP Central Committee, where we're working to steer the party to the center.
