Ok I don't know if this has been posted before and if I've been sleepin on it but I just saw it yesterday and it was really scary. Was 9/11 just a big tactic by our own government to mess with the American psyche? Here is the link! This is something that really gets you to thinking what the hell our government is capable of.

9/11-LOOSE CHANGE

All I can say is: WOW! I'm in shock.

I downloaded this a couple of months ago because I thought it was porn. (It was called something different)

Pretty scary stuff. The whole Pentagon thing is very fishy. I hope this makes it out into the mainstream. This could really make certain people explain themselves.

I'm really hoping we can hear MIB's point of view on this since he's our anchor into reason.

How true, and you should consider yourself highly honored by my presence here. It is not easy to maintain a constant state of reasonableness and brilliance, you know.

Seems quite far-fetched. Some bits make sense. Others don't. A more important question for me, and they may ask it later since I only watched about 11-12 first minutes, is "Why were so many Saudis whisked out of the US without so much as a briefing?" and also "Why is it that the argueably most knowledgeable intelligence agency concerning middle east terrorism in the world: Mossad knew absolutely nothing about this plot?" Or at least nothing that it can share, even post-9/11. There is many a question I could think of.
Bryan
Perhaps you should watch more than the first 11-12 minutes before calling it far-fetched...

What a shocking experience - to watch this documentary. Clearly there are some huge discrepencies in the "official" story. The small explosions within each tower, away from where the planes hit, are especially disturbing.

I wonder if the investigation of all this will ever really expand or will it stay as an internet thing?
UCLAfan
Now that I've had time to evaluate the movie objectively, the producers made some very valid points, particularly with the physics aspect of it all.

* How is it that high grade steel used in construction of the Twin Towers (which has a melting point of 3,000 degrees F) allegedly melted at 2,000 degrees F, the burning point of jet fuel?

* Why weren't the black boxes of the two flights which crashed into the Twin Towers (supposedly made to withstand any disaster) recovered?

* Why hasn't the government released ALL of the videos of the Pentagon crash (including those of the gas stations and the hotel located on that specific side of the Pentagon)?

There are several more that really need to answered before I can fully accept the official explanation that our government has provided. Coincidence is the fool's explanation for a plan. Too many coincidences exist in this case for it to be random chance.

>>>Coincidence is the fool's explanation for a plan.

Funny. I've always said that conspiracy is the bored person's explanation for coincidence.

There are points raised, but I feel that the competing theories tend to make the government seem both amazingly brilliant and ridiculously prone to oversight, at the same time.

Exactly Lexington. I'm sorry I wasted my time watching the whole thing. The idea our government would be able to pull of a huge conspiracy like this without f***ing it up is simply absurd. Not to mention that pulling it off would require thousands of people to participate and not say anything to anyone ever AND all propagate the exact same cover story at the exact same time. Right. These days a government secretary can barely take home a stapler without 38 people running to the inspector general and the media.

I watched the whole thing and there are so many strawmen, logical fallacies, and just downright false claims that I quit counting early on.

A downright lie was the claim that WTC Building 7 was the third building "in history" to collapse due to fire...behind WTC 1 and 2 a few hours before. I can think of numerous counterexamples...just watch some of the old WW2 footage from Dresden or London or ask your local firemen. The "physics" of the collapse argument would be useful if the steel was melting in a lab, but of course they neglected to mention the massive structural damage to the entire infrastructure of the building that happened in real life.

There were broad logical fallacies (some idiot in the 60s suggested the government could stage a terror attack, therefore it was possible and was actually done in 2001) and specific logical fallacies (such as the entire pathetic series trying to calculate the timing, number of passengers, etc. of the supposed landing and evacuation of Flight 93 in Ohio). There were plenty of strawmen too (e.g., the Florida protestors planted by the RNC during the 2000 election recount). I could go on and on.

Finally, they use the classic conspiracy theory tactic of quoting witnesses/journalists in the early moments of the unfolding crisis as telling absolute facts. Just because a witness who saw a plane flying into a building at 100s of mph out of the corner of his eye said he didn't see windows on the plane, doesn't mean there were no windows on the plane! And just because a reporter speculates the sound was "like that of a missle" doesn't mean a missle was involved. To believe all that, you'd have to at the same time discount the much larger number of witnesses who DID see airplanes with windows flying into buildings.

Step back and think about it. This doesn't even pass the laugh test.

It was either the History Channel or the National Geographic Channel--one of those cool, educational channels--that answered that question with an excellent explanation of just how and why the towers collapsed. The heat was one of the contributing factors of the failure of the steel frame, from what I remember.

That is an excellent point, considering our government for decades hasn't been able to do the simplest things right.

But maybe that's their plan... Muaaahahaahaa

It would seem that the best way for all of this controversy to end is for the Bush Regime to be completely lucid with us, the people. HA! Fat chance that will happen. They haven't been lucid with us on the "real" reasons for their invasion of Iraq. How can a reasonable person expect them to be completely candid on this?
Bryan
I've always been a skeptic, conspiracy theories be damned! But, this administration has shown me repeatedly that there is very little that they won't do to achieve their agendas...As far as I can see, this adminstration is just as radical and ruthless as any islamic psycho...they're just more clever and more discreet. Iraq is simply a blood bath...and while these 9/11 documentaries don't necessarily prove anything, they give more than reasonable doubt to the 'acceptable' story. The lack of a plane, flight 93, is perhaps the most glaring point raised? Where the hell did the plane go? Why did the impact points completely not fit an airplane of that size? Something's definitely wrong with the government's version of 9/11 and much of what they've done and not done ever since doesn't make sense.

Bryan is right. There are many holes in this explanation that has been given to our nation. The documentary does not answer all of them. For one, I will keep an open mind on the subject.

One red flag, for me, was the removal of the dogs from the tower on the 11th and the calls for goverment officials not to fly that day.

My father and brothers were all in the military. In growing up with that mentality in my home, I know that a solider's mind is set to follow orders and not question. Groups of military could have entered the WTC during those security drills and planted the explosives and never asked question and be expected to keep quiet. Or they could have been passengers on flight 77 and 93 as an additional step to cover up the actions.

Motives: The gold under the WTC and the insider trading would have given enough reason. Political gain or military power would make more sense. "we need another Pearl Harbor" mentality to boost our love for country?

I am mad and will make sure that this film is passed along.

A continuation --

As a child the military and NASA were, without doubt, the tops, Fool proof, invincible, mighty and strong. In the resent years they have given the impression and image that all of that was false.

Just suspose, that someone is capable of pulling off such great cover-ups as "area 51, JFK assination, Walking on the moon" . . . they would want us to think that they were not that smart. Another clever part of their cover-up. Well it is working. Today, 80% of Americans do not have confidence in our government, NASA or the military. The 9/11 experience would give the administration a chance to "shine" in the attempts to recover.

Did I menion, I am mad!

This is such a diversion.

Why isn't anyone insisting on George W. Bush telling us the real reason he invaded Iraq? Not one of his explanations is consistent with his past or personality IMO?

Simple vengeance and the "need to feed" of his damaged ego seem the most likely explanations for his personal motives to me. Could anyone kill people to cover past failures in their life?
