Seems we know why they tried to loot the WH, so they could sell um to settle da legal bills...

Keep typing Hillary, keep typing.

And, why, P Fan, isn't it lying for Hillary to claim that she wrote the book when it was largely ghost-written?

When Milli Vanilli did that on their record, they had their Grammy revoked. When Hillary does the same thing in book form ... claiming credit for words being produced and put out into public by someone else ... she gets named the frontrunner for the Dem nomination for 2008. And neither Rob nor Fab had fat ankles like the junior senator from the Empire State.

Kinda like God and the Bible huh

CITT and Phils, look, as burned up as Hillary's success makes you, give it to her: HER BOOK IS SELLING LIKE KRISPY KREMES!!!

Btw, Hillary does acknowledge her ghost-helper(s), and the ideas and life covered are hers (even if in very attenuated, ennui-inducing form), which is more than could be said for Milli Vanilli!

When did hillary ever come out with this? in some obscure news story that no one reads? Only when pushed in the corner about it?

Look at her books... they imply that she wrote them. She gives credit to no one, except herself. For you to even say she gives credit to others is absurd.

oh and PS, if hillary is running in the 08 election, do you really think the dems would put anything at all into this election? Should we just pencil W in for 4 more years?

There are some lawyers out there who are about to be royally screwed. I bet the Clintons barely repay a cent of these bills.

And I HATE KRISPY KREMES!

Hey, a great number of people us ghostwriters (I would at least PM fantomas if I thought he'd write MY autobiography... biggrin.gif  ).

Even our idol, Greg Louganis, used a ghost writer for his first book (of course, he didn't need one to talk about his passion for dogs, complete with helpful grooming and training advice!! eek! wink ).

Looks like when HC cracks her whip, people listen!!

Actually, that's not true. Someone named Eric Marcus has a co-author credit on Louganis's "autobiography" "Breaking the Surface" -- and you can doublecheck Barnes & Noble here -- which is the honorable (and honest) way of doing it.

If you're interested buying Louganis's book, I saw remaindered copies of it at a recently opened store that specializes in remaindered books.

Right: Eric Marcus.

Yeah, "co-author" is the most honorable way to do it.

My VERY personal opinion: Doing the "co-author" thing, to me, made it look like Louganis couldn't write...Hillary Clinton is a lawyer and probably couldn't have (lack of literary input as an issue).

I have met GL and find him extremely intelligent...maybe he was just taking precautions, as it was his 1st book.

I don't know...I guess I'll have to hold HC accountable for THE WAY she did her gig.

You see, hillary presents the book as if it's just her work. Not giving ideas then looking it over to see if it's correct.

You know like when her husband was banging someone and she was too stupid to know it... Can you guys re-write this... i dont sound shocked enough....

Just like she did in, "it takes a villiage" to raise kids.. not parents.

Much like the spin of her selling 1 million books, when in fact, that has not happened.
