Have a look at :
http://www.hrcactioncenter.org/campaign/fma_oppose_decIt's a painless way to make your voice heard - and pass on the address to friends: I've sent it to about 50 people.

Thanks for the link. I sent it out, but don't think it'll do any good since my Rep. Musgrave is the Bitch who wrote the damn thing.

For a state that generally seems middle of the road, we have more than our fair share of beyond the pale politicos: Marilyn Musgrave and Tom Tancredo lead the pack.

Isn't Colorado fairly conservative? It seems like it used to be more moderate when it was less populous (the 1970s), but it's been sending GOPers to Washington at at a steady clip. Don't Denver and Boulder have more influence?

That is part of the problem, Denver and Boulder send thier 2 Dems, but the remainder of the state sends 5 GOP. One of which won by only 90 some votes this last election. So, of course, the Repubs tried to redraw the map so the race wouldn't be so tight next time. Thankfully they failed when the challenge was both struck down in our state SC and refused to be heard by the Fed courts.
The govenorship has been Repub and now the house and the senate are as well. I don't know what to make of it, since we really don't have a Denver backlash in the distant parts of the state. But Yes we were Happy Dems durring the 70s, 80s, and the Early 90's.
I miss her, but I know the Repubs here hated Pat Schreoder.
