Do NOT blame me for this stuff. I don't write it, but I do sometimes piss my pants laughing. Blame me for enjoying if you will. Nonetheless, this is from one of my favorite sites, somethingawful.com.

I'm now certain that I'm going to Hell for laughing at the caption under the missing Aruba teen.

I'm glad other people don't find this Aruba girl story saddening. It's just like the whole drunk girl gets 'raped' at a fraternity story. Well genius, accusing someone of rape because you were too drunk to make a good decision does NOT make me feel sorry for you.
Plenty of people saw her with these guys and saw her drive off with them. Here's a thought. You see your friend get in a car with someone you don't know on an exotic island, how about instead of just watching her drive off, ask her who these guys are, where they're going, etc!
And the whole moral of the story, high school class trips to Aruba, where gambling and drinking are a-ok are not good ideas.

I knew I couldn't be the only one that found that piece hysterical. And yeah, the captions are a hoot. The Aruba one is A+, but the one about Shiavo is clever as well.
As a side note, its poignant that media never seizes on stories about men who go missing, or women of color. Its a sad reflection of our society that the media adopts white women as their end-all, be-all media circus. Well, them and celibrity trials anyways.

Why did I immediately think of Michael Jackson when I first read this thread title?

Seriuosly though, is that the ONLY picture the family/Jennifer Wilbank's husband could have released to the media? It still creeps me out.

As funny as the page was, the Dick & Jane pictures were even better.

Guess that explains why Michael Jackson wants to be a White Woman.

It's really sad when even a Fox News poll shows 44% of people think that Natalee has only herself to blame for her disappearance.

My question has been was this a school-sanctioned event? If so, where were the adults? For a girl that was so intelligent, she sure did some dumb things in a strange land.

There were chaperones, but there was also no curfew.
Hard to keep track of people when they can be gone whenever they want.

It was not school sanctioned. Remember, these kids have GRADUATED; they are no longer students. I consider these kids adults and it's not the responsibility of the Chaperones to keep up with them. My God, they will be off at college in 2 months.
