There is going to be a rally on the grounds of the Georgia State Capitol building at noon on Saturday February 14th. Bring everyone you know who will support gay/lesbian/transgerdered and in general civil rights for all.
The rally is to protest SR595 which is the resolution to amend the GA constitution to define marriage as a union of one man and one woman. The argument that is being used is that this will protect the "sanctity" of marriage. I personally have yet to hear anyone from the right side of the argument define what sanctity of marriage is.
This is a civil rights rally. I'll be there rain or shine. We have to make our voices heard since the bill is already on the floor of the senate in GA. Please join us for this celebration of unity!
