Oh well. W. took out Saddam, who had no links to these death-loving psychos, and we still haven't found their 6'6", bearded, invalid leader (hell, we don't even know where Saddam and his murderous kids are), and now Osama's suicide-killers are up to their old, deadly tricks: synchronized bombings of Western and Jewish targets, senseless killing of innocent people, widespread destruction...

Perhaps the US can get back to the War on Terror, after it stops Iraq from slipping into total anarchy (it's nearly there).

I'm sure this will all be used in the President's campaign for reelection. Our best hope is that the public eventually understands that there are real non-military approaches to the problem of terrorism.

Ironically a Saudi spokesman for the monarchy recently stated that solution clearly and articulately. Radical religious fundamentalism from whatever source has to be confronted directly on an ideological level. No religion should be allowed to be hijacked by violence.

You're right. But what will he campaign on? He hasn't focused on this at all; his goal of seizing oil fields and avenging his daddy's diss were tops in his game plan.

Also, after mocking the last prez, W's "road map" for Israeli-Palestinian peace appears to be under siege. Or maybe just amBushed....

Whats up with this? I thought we were suppose to feel all warm and cozy not that we "liberated" Iraq. That big bad regime that we were all suppose be fearing with their invisible "hundred of tons" of WOMD folded like a paper tiger. Chimp cant even bring himself to mention bin Laden, Homeland Security being used to hunt down Democrats, Saddam still free.....good job Chimpy!

So too like...when are we invading Saudi Arabia????? Seems to me since most or all of the terrorists that contributed to 9/11, and most or all of the terrorists that took part in the recent bombings in Riyadh were Saudia, and they failed to heed specific warnings from the U.S., and continue to teach hate of the west in their schools...seems to me, Shrub needs to head up a posse and lets go after the Royal Kingdom!!! Oh, and don't forget theres always Muomar Khadaffi in Libya too. rolleyes.gif He's been too quiet lately.

Bush can be re-elected on the Middle East alone (and now, Cuba is on the table).

It's a cinch, as things stand right now.

I recall that CITT, whose comments I usually find enlightening even when we disagree, did say that we weren't going after Iran because its regime was on the verge of collapse. I have always felt that either Iran or Syria was next, because both still serious threats to Israel and Iran has the potential to make the US's chaos in both Aghanistan and Iraq even worse. Obviously, the neo-cons agree.

And so now we learn that the neo-cons and Bushie are actively planning to subvert the Islamic government there by any and every necessary means. Is this any way to win friends in the Islamic world?
