The group OKLAHOMANS FOR CHILDREN AND FAMILIES in Oklahoma is a dangerous homophobic cult. They have targeted public libraries attempting to censor materials which they deem are pornographic or satanic. They ran a popular comic book store out of business claiming that it sold illegal porn when it was not true. And the fanatics call for the death penalty of gay and lesbian citizens. We in the gay community must stand up to these damn hatemongers before it is too late.

OCAF seems to be fading into obscurity, thankfully. They are best known for getting a judge to rule the classic movie "The Tin Drum" obscene, which resulted in police raids on the homes of people who had rented the movie, including a local ACLU member.

Wow! I thought the Ontario Censor Board were the only people crazy enough to think the Tin Drum was pornographic.

A few weeks ago I submitted the topic on Fred Phelps and his 'God hates fags' group and website. Well an Oklahoma, U.S.A. group 'Oklahomans For Children And Families' has Phelps beaten when it comes to pure hatred of gays.

This group originally called for the arrest and imprisonment of all gay men. No mention was made of lesbians. Then it called for the castration of all gay men. Now it calls for the execution of all homosexuals.

It is easy to dismiss these sorts of cranks but I have no doubt that psycho hate mongers could be affected to committ hate crimes even murder after hearing this sort of propoganda.
