Stumbled on this neat site that gives light-hearted and enlightening introductions to the various names for "God" or the "Gods" that have been created by man.

Love the site name The Godchecker.

Those of Judaism, Christianity and Islam fall under Middle East Mythology where Allah is of course the late arriver of the three.

My favorite is Ahura Mazda, the Zoroastrian name for God. The alternative name of Zarathustra has always been one of my favorite sounding words, even before the movie "2001: A Space Odyssey".

It has such a nice ring to it.

That's great, thanks for the link. There must be one in there I like. (Actually, I've long been partial to Ganesha the Hindu "elephant god".)

Btw, don't forget to visit the God Shop! biggrin.gif

Those pug-ugly pictures of Thor and Loki could ruin a kids fantasies. These are more like what I visualized:

Thor with a butt that cranked

Hot and nasty Loki with a cup of...well you decide

And my Thor and Loki didn't waste their time battling over who controlled the universe either. wink

Maybe you could be the Greek Goddess of Justice. Unfortunately she's a Dike..literally. Not that there's anything wrong with that. rolleyes.gif Just messing with ya. biggrin.gif
