Who cares? Nobody reads retractions. The point is to immediately make Brock look like a liar. This mission is undoubtedly accomplished. Millions of emails probably went out about this earlier, and they won't be followed up with a retraction.

But I will say this: Never trust CNN. (You know, if you're a leftist at CNN and you wanted to create a controversy in which poor David is unfairly attacked - and he undoubtedly has friends at CNN - it would be easy to deliberately manipulate transcripts, allow accusations to fly and then post the correct transcript.)

Brock is a skankbag, pure and simple. I don't know how anybody on the right or the left could take his bullshit seriously at this point. He's somebody who should just fade away, he's got zero credibility about anything.

Interesting, now that he's attacking the right, he's a skankbag. But he was a skankbag when he was attacking the left as well, and that didn't seem to bother the people he is today attacking. I guess geese and ganders really aren't good for each other.

I don't care which side he is attacking now. When he was on the right, I was on the left. I didn't like him then and I don't like him now.

I'm sorry Treebeard. You are entirely right to assume I was talking about you when I wrote that. And your post did inspire my response. But it was only the word that really ties our posts together. I was not making any statement about you, but I just really liked the word "skankbag" and made a comment using it that I had been thinking about for some time. Rather, I was thinking of people like Anne Coulter who lauded Brock as the great investigative journalist and now, having been made a fool by him, wants his .... his.... I can't even type it, but whatever they are she wants 'em as a ornament for her rearview mirror. I guess the euphimism I'm looking for here is "fuzzy dice?"

I see, thanks for the clarification. I don't like Coulter either. She gives conservatives a bad name but that's a different topic.
