George, do you suppose Deion will be color-coordinating his suit with the girls' evening-wear costumes? Instead of turning down the volume, I may have to turn down the tint!

Suddenly that Tonya Harding - Amy Fisher bitchfight on Fox sounds appealing.
Or maybe I'll just spread honey on my butt and sit on an ant farm.

Did anybody see Deion Sanders hosting the pageant Friday night? I didn't see it, but Howard Stern was playing clips and, of course, goofing on them. It sounded even worse than I imagined! Howard, Robin and Artie were cracking up and I was laughing my ass off. Why would CBS think this would work? No wonder Letterman wants to bolt for another network.

I am OUTRAGED! How could Tom Brady give Miss California a 9.23 in the swimsuit competition, then turn around and give Miss Massachusettes a 9.51?? What the?? Miss Mass.'s forward motion clearly showed that she had her boobs taped-up, and the officials never flagged her on it. Just look at the instant replay! I demand a full investigation by the NBOFB (National Body for Ogling Female Bodies).
Ummm, actually, I missed the "spectacle." So, which state won Miss America anyway? Not Miss Texas AGAIN!

This was not Miss America, but it's less dignified cousin Miss USA, the feeder pageant for Miss Universe. The major distinction between MA and MUSA is that the Miss America pageant has a talent component.
BTW, Miss District of Columbia won.
Odd bit of trivia in the Olympic spirit. Miss Puerto Rico does not participate in the Miss USA pageant, rather is an independent entry in Miss Universe, much like their Olympic teams.
