This totally depressing and outrageous story appearing the L.A. Weekly was brought to my attention by liberal journalist and blogger Doug Ireland.

Even in their twilight years, some of our golden older brethren are being hassled by the law and courts.

I'm sure many law and order types have no problem with the problems our queer senior men face.

Seems to me Lambda Legal should do something to help these men and quickly too. Enough legal harassment of gays whose only 'crime' was looking for dick.

I was watching a Dateline a couple of months ago and they had a report about online predators. There was a group, perverted-justice.com that posed as children to trap preditors.

I was curious as to what the predator breakdown by gender and proclivity. From the ones that I checked (and I checked quite a few of them) there were no women, not suprisingly. But I was pleasantly suprised to see that there were almost no men pursuing boys. It was overwhelmingly, well over 90%, very close to 100%, men pursuing girls.

Yeah, I am also "pleasantly surprised" that it is mostly little girls who are being scarred for life by these animals. Because if it were little boys it might be bad press for the gay rights movement? How is it possibly better that it is happening so much more to one sex over another? I can see being surprised by this data, but pleasantly so? I really hope you didn't mean that statement the way it reads.

Also not at all sure what this Dateline piece has to do with MPetralis' post. The people from the Dateline report are criminals violating children. The man in the LA Weekly story was only with another consenting adult and they weren't even doing anything.
