As a caucasian male who has spent his entire life living in the city of Detroit spending way too many years listening to the late Mayor Coleman A.Young spout off the same unacceptable comments,it all feels way too familiar.Generally when a politician knows that he does not have the necessary tools to get re-elected he's got to make sure he plays what I call the racial-paranoia card.In other words make the African American citizens feel as threatened as possible by "The Man" This will almost always guarnatee that you get re-elected no matter how ineffective or unscrupulous you were during your previous tenure. Will I ever live to see a politician get re-elected because of the positive things he has accomplished as well as what he can accomplish?!

Paraphrasing Jon Stewart on "The Daily Show:" New Orleans is a hot, damp, humid city & we all know what happens to a Snickers bar kept in our pocket. I'm not an architect, but I don't know if I'd use chocolate; it'd be better with brittle.

Which is probably why I'm always in robes of flowing white as pure as the driven snow.
Yeah, I bet you've been "driven" quite a few times. ...driven into ...driven over...
