Wonder how that works with ticket holders, etc... Has this ever happened in history before?

The NFL moved Monday night's Chargers-Dolphins game to Tempe, from Qualcomm Stadium because of wildfires in the San Diego area. Commissioner Paul Tagliabue said in a statement Sunday night that the city of San Diego advised the league it could not play the game in Qualcomm. The Chargers say tickets to the game will be free and available on a first-come, first-served basis.


I pray to God the game outdraws the Cardinal's game today, sending a message to the Bidwells. Would also like to see some sort of mass donation effort at the game to help out the folks in CA. Especially given the wildfires we had here in AZ last year.

hmmmmmm, i wanna check this out... but it sounds like it's gonna be a big MESS. Free tix tho, and a real football team, geez.

Actually, they shoulda done 5 buck tix or something, then see if they can outdraw bigwell's team...

and the sorry city of Phoenix STILL won't produce a sell out. They can't even give away tickets in Phoenix.

This just happened last night..... First i heard about it was this am driving to work... free tix tho, i'm all over it.

kudos to the people of Phoenix. Even better I hope is that they took some sort of contributions for the victims of the fires that caused this in the first place. Good job anyway.

You are damn right! The Dolphins looked fantastic. They didn't even need Ricky Williams last night. It is so wonderful to see the name "Griese" on the back of a Dolphins quarterback. I felt like a kid again. Brian Griese was solid-perhaps his best start ever (including the games he played with the Broncos)!

ummmm, if you saw me, then what was i wearing? Oh if you sent me a private message it gave me some error and deleted it, so i didtn get it, you'd have to send it again.

Lemme tell ya, i'm a smart guy.. took the back way in missed traffic and came in the back gate where there was no line and scored the upper deck 40 yard line seats...

However, i'll say this.... how cheap can people be? The food lines were out the door.. the beer line were out the door... and they only had 200k in donatons? I'm sure they got more cash selling beer than that. 1/2 the crowd was college "talent" and the families... .who... errrrrr... couldnt afford to go to a game usually... But, how can you spend 50 bucks to get nochos and a beeer but cant throw a 10 or 20 into the bucket for the free game???????

OH, before i forget.. we philly fans get a bad rap for fighting and drinking... but lemme tell ya, when i personally see 10-15 fights at a nuetral site game.... yeah... AZ fans are in a word, pathetic.

Too many Raider fans in attendance....

Fortunately, I was in the "eye candy" section and didn't have to put up with many of them.

I may have to start going back to ASU games!!!
