Ms. de Blazer
A couple of weeks ago someone, I'm sorry I forget who, commented, correctly, about how civil the discussion was on this thread despite our differences. How we at least tried to address what one another were saying.
Unfortunately, one person spewing wild accusations and antiwoman, antiSemitic poison can and does destroy that civil discussion.
It's a shame because it was a good discussion. I think we can all learn from having civil debate, even if we never reach consensus.
Now I see comments by someone who probably does not even read my posts but compares Jewish women to Nazis. And the Nazis are rated higher.

Hear, hear. We certainly don't reach consensus on important topics, like greatest Open era tennis player, or worst looking college football uniforms, or some of these political issues. But civil discourse and debate allows for a greater understanding. I appreciate when posters share with passion, but also with respect. The denigrating, insult laden, "you are an idiot" assumptions that permeate the remarks of some commentators...it'd be nice if they called into radio programs where that's viewed as entertainment instead.
