Full Version: Will the Recall Succeed?/ Will Arnold be Gov.?
Outsports Discussion Board > Outsports > Politics & Religion

I was going to post a poll here -- but the moderators (probably wisely) chose to disable that function on P&R.

The questions at hand:

1) Will Gray Davis be recalled? and
2) If so, who will be the new governor.

The conventional wisdom -- up until the pair of October surprises yesterday:

1) "Yes"
2) "Arnold"

I think that's still true. Whaddya think?

Yes
Arnold

I'm SICK of hearing about California. I'll be glad when it's over, regardless the Democrat will carry CA in 2004

I'm still holding out hope for Gary Coleman. Bling-bling.

Hey guys I hate to tell you....
The next recall here is already forming, You can expect another recall to be launched. Look for the target date to be march

You know P2, i would suspect this recall would be much much harder to accomplish.

I believe the signatures needed are a % of the voters who voted in the election. if people turn out in droves to voet.. and elect someone.. i'd suspect that most normal folks would not want to re-visit this mess and just move forward.

there are, however, many commie-pinkos would try to move forward.. until someone like say... gray out was re-elected.

Phillyfan yes it is a percentage, but it is very very low. Also I know it is not covered on the nation news but there is a bunch of anger brewing.
BTW from what I can tell, the Gov can not do away with the car tax fee...as it is a state law, it would have to be approved by the assy.
it is going to be a joke out here

I could care less, it's your state. No skin off my back.
