It sounds like the two women are criminals -- fraud at a minimum, and lord knows what happened to the little girl -- but leave orientation out of it -- I guess he thinks it's OK to joke about lesbians behind closed doors in Pensacola.

Yes I dislike Jeb, as I do most holier than thou, right wing, "family values" hypocrites. His daugter is a crack addict, his son was arrested for having sex in a mall parking lot, his wife is a really bad liar who had to pay $4100 in fines for "misleading" US Customs officails. She bought $19,000 in clothes and declared $500 - woops! He needs to start a "war on drugs" and start preaching his morality/ethics under his own roof.

I assume Mary Cheney and Log Cabin republicans are pulling out all the stops to get Jeb re-elected.

Normally, I would completely agree with Razorback, but in this case, I'm going to back off. I won't make William and the ohter LCRs on the board explain the behavior of their idiot allies, on the condition they give me the same courtesy as well.

Actually, it does seem like their relationship is a bit unclear. Apparently they said they were "half-sisters" - but I'm not really sure where the grandmother/aunt thing comes in.

WHEN? WHERE? HOW?

It would appear that JEB's then 16 yo son, Jebby (I'm not making this up, someone else might have, but I'm not), was found in a Tallahasee mall parking lot in the back seat of a Jeep Cherokee with a 17 yo female. Both were naked from the waist down. A police report was written. No one was arrested. There is some evidence that Jebby invoked his father's name and position, no evidence, at this point, that the governor interviened in any way. I don't know the statistics on people making out in mall parking lots half naked going to jail, so I don't know if their not being arrested bucks the trend or not. The incident was reported on the web at The Smoking Gun which, to my knowledge is reliable. It cites a report in London's The Mail which is also reliable. The New York Post gossip column, on the other hand is not. This shouted snopes to me, so I checked. There was no mention of the incident on the website either proving or disproving it.
Not mentioned so far is this incident which puts further pressure on JEB's family as the least functional political family in American politics.

It must be the zeitgeist: On Friends last night, there was a running gag about Joey not being able to apply the "air quotes" in the right place.
