Bank One and the Chicago bears have agreed to a deal in which the next years Chicago's team will be know as the Bears football presented by Bank One, thank god this is not a college team otherwise they could be "Bears football presented by Bank One" playing in the Rose Bowl presented by AT&T ... more presenters than an award show

Soon they'll completely drop the team's location. You'll have the Bank One Bears vs the Citibank Cowboys, and so on.

Dont you mean the Dallas Cowboys brought to you by the "the crack house and hookers" of Fort Worth?

I was a little confused by the blurb I saw about this in the Los Angeles Times. So Da Bears will be back at Soldier Field this year right?

It's still Soldier Field. If I recall reading correctly, it's city-owned or state-owned and the politicians are adamant that the name NEVER be changed.

yes they still will be playing in Soldier Field and not called anything else, after all the BOB (Bank One Ballpark) is already taken.

I believe Soldier Field has been declared an historical landmark or some such thing, and therefore cannot have the name changed or altered.
