Whether or not the firing was retaliatory, it smacks of nasty backstabbing, and quite frankly, cowardice on the part of the DNC - and I have let them know how I feel. I am not a Democrat because I am gay, but neither will I allow the party to once again pretend gay people are worth nothing more than donation $$ to the party. It is bad enough that so many Dems in the House and Senate have cowardly expressed their opposition to the Federal Marriage Amendment in terms of "there are better ways to keep the fags from marrying" rather than standing up for true American values, but it is even worse that the Dems refuse to challenge the anti-gay GOP hatemongers.
