If a liberal said this, Conservatives would be calling for a prison term--or worse. BTW, isn't this a violation of the Patriot Act?

I'm an unabashed, unashamed Roman Catholic. I am a Christian. I love my God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. I believe He loves me and everyone else, sinners and all. I also believe He expects me to love others. I do not see where Robertson fits in this same equation and expectancy. What's worse, he gets legions of misled individuals to share these stupid views.
And people wonder why as a Christian I do not like the so-called Christian right. (For one thing, they're virulently anti-Catholic.) What would Robertson, Falwell, et. al. say if Jesus asked them, "Do you do unto others as you would have them do unto you?"
What a bunch of sanctimonious hypocrites.

People like Pat Robertson make me happy I live my Christian life as I do -- being so grounded in my faith helps me to be accepting (not anti-tolerant) of so many other faiths and ideas and so eager to learn more about them when I meet people from different backgrounds than mine. I don't want to debate religious issues, but I want to respect others and hope they will do the same for me. Pat Robertson needs to guide his people down the right path and not the path that's going to bring him the donaltions he salivates over every day on his TV show.
