The smart countries of the world are getting out. I hope their soldiers remember to take home those thousands of roses that were thrown at their feet.
  • \"Italy will start to withdraw its soldiers from Iraq this September, Italian Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi said on Tuesday, adding to the list of U.S. allies looking to cut their troop levels.\"

  • Bulgaria's president said his country should withdraw its 450 troops from Iraq by the end of this year after a Bulgarian soldier was accidentally killed by U.S. forces.\"

Move along--nothing to see here.

QUOTE
On Iraq, Bush said he understood the desire of countries to bring their troops home. \"What you're going to find is that countries will be willing, anxious\" to leave - but only when Iraqi police and security forces are capable of taking over the work now done by coalition forces.

He denied that what the administration has called the \"coalition of the willing\" was crumbling.

The colition of the billing is NOT crumbling...

oh, and this just in:
Day is night
Up is down

Thank goodness we still have Estonia, Tonga, Kazakhstan, Macedonia, and Moldova on board.

I saw a very funny political cartoon the other day, with President Bush announcing we will be leaving Iraq through Iran. Maybe it would have been funnier if it weren't so close to the truth.
