Is it me or does this look like some kind of kinky NFL video being made. The positioning of the two Eagles players is rather "interesting" and then you've got the two refs with their "touchdown" signal and then the camera man in the background right in on the 2 players. Looks like some new freaky sneaky flick sports flick to me LOL.

Please take that to the hot jock thread... Plus that TD celebration is over a year old.
Seems like our little RAT poke fan is in hiding. Fear not, like most rats they appear if and only if they WIN.
Dallas season is on sunday. Losing two East games at home will prove deadly to the pokes and their illegal fans who jump the fence to come this weekend.
On a brighter note, PCCos will be MIA for the next two weeks with games at denver and KC. 3-0 to 3-2. GO 4-Skins!

As if things in the NFC North weren't bad enough, two items reveal things won't get any better anytime soon.
First, Vikings owner Zygi Wilf (buy a vowel pal) says that Mike Tice will not be fired no matter how much the Vikes struggle this season. Great news for the Tice family and fans of other NFC teams. The rest of us-not so much.
Second, Lions receiver Charles Rogers has ben suspended four games for violating the league's substance abuse policy. One less receiver for Joey to over throw this week.

Well, I guess in the case of Charles Rogers, he had found something to pass the with for the two years he was on IR. Now that he could play, he just couldn't let it go.
No wonder they took Mike Williams.

Man! It's been quiet this week! Well, it's Thursday and here are my week 5 predictions:
Baltimore at Detroit – Lions (Harrington is playing for his job, but the team hates him. This will be won on a defensive score. And that sucking sound you hear, that’s the offenses taking the field.)
Chicago at Cleveland – Cleveland (And my husband, the leader of the Dilfer Fan Club, will be chanting DILFER DILFER DILFER the whole game.)
Miami at Buffalo – Miami (Gus Ferrotte, he’s man!)
New England at Atlanta – New England (They won’t get shamed again, at least not this week.)
New Orleans at Green Bay – Green Bay (But it’s gonna be close. And possibly weird.)
Seattle at St. Louis – St. Louis (Especially if Mike Martz ISN’T on the sideline.)
Tampa Bay at N.Y. Jets – Tampa Bay (heheheh YEAH, good luck Jets, pinning your hopes on a 41 year old QB.)
Tennessee at Houston – Tennessee (I don’t know what the Texans did to piss off God, but he’s really not liking them.)
Indianapolis at San Francisco- Indy (Right now, Dwight Freeney is sitting in his house, LAUGHING because he’s going to get sooooo many sacks.)
Carolina at Arizona – Carolina (And Josh McCown will have a good game, but they will STILL think that Warner is the answer.)
Philadelphia at Dallas – Philly (and TO will do a dick move, and my friend Matt will fly down to Texas and shoot him.)
Washington at Denver – Denver (thought I really don’t know. Plummer is so freaking weird.)
Cincinnati at Jacksonville – Jacksonville (My upset pick of the week. Welcome to a real defense, Mr. Palmer.)
Pittsburgh at San Diego – Pittsburgh (This could be the best game of the week. It could be a real slobberknocker!)

ML it's a quiet week because the Rat/Roach poke fans are hiding.
This week is A-OK to root for TO and say... dance and spit on that star! Send those pathetic folks home with a tear in their eye with only memories of glory 10 years past.
Should the pokes win, that is when their "fanz" (habla espanol?) show up.
I must disagree, that sucking sound you hear is not the offense at a game, it's bill parcells. Wait, that might be girgling.

Philly is gettin that ass kicked plain and simple. Still a half of football to be played but I don't know if they have another comeback like last week against the Chiefs. Bledsoe is on fire and the defense is on vacation. This would be a great win for the Cowboys division wise but Philly clearly needs to get off the mark better.

Deadskins lose to Denver as expected. Nice comeback toward the end which was kept alive by a Denver penalty. The Redskins games have been so close and could've easily been 0-5 as they are 4-1. I'm not ready to put them in the playoffs but they are a legit team.
As for the Eagles, with McNabb injured and the Redskins, Giants, and Cowboys acting like they want to do something this year its gonna get real interesting. Eagles have a much needed bye but have the Chargers after that and then a series of division games. I'm not making anything out of this loss but they clearly have to come out of the gates better. They are still 3-2. Bad day at the office and they got outclassed and outplayed period. Special teams needs to get its act together. The defense is still good...they just weren't good today.

I picked the Jets to win on my Outsports Pick'Em this week. I'm not a bit surprised, seeing as how the Bucs are frauds.
I had also picked Dallas, knowing how the Eagles have struggled in games the week before the bye, but then I changed it back at the last minute. D'oh.
I actually didn't watch a whole lot of the game. As I mentioned in the thread about the NYC bar gathering, I was at my nephew's birthday party. Between the kids running around and the moron adults standing in front of the TV almost constantly, I couldn't stand it any more so I went to the kitchen and stayed out there in the relative calm.
Not concerned about the Eagles. As I said, they always struggle before the bye week. I think this is good because now they'll realize that this isn't 2004 any more and they need to work.

Oct 9 2005, 08:53 PM
ahhhhh well...I wanted the Bengals to win but Jacksonville hung tough and got the key turnover at the end. Had it not been for the fumble I think Cincy would've won. They were really driving. So the Colts remain the only unbeaten and I think that is fitting. They are clearly the best team in the NFL right now and are balanced on both sides of the ball. I'm sure they are trying to seal home field advantage throughout the playoffs. Good weekend of football. Tomorrow night's Chargers/Steelers game will be a GREAT closer to week 5!

Ah, yes, it was my pleasure to view the slaughter in person. Great seats, in the shade, beautiful day at Texas Stadium. THE EAGLES SUCK!!!!
BIG TIME. Where was TO? Did he take the day off?
And McNabb - why did he keep throwing at the ground, 5 yards in front of his receivers?
The best part - there were a group of 7 knuckle dragging philly fans next to our seats.
The usually loud, obnoxious fans where quiet as church mice. Just sitting there, stunned, staring straight ahead. One guy even started reading the newspaper, just couldnt take it anymore.

The sports hernia is going to continue to plague the Eagles. Donovan should get the surgery. Talk about him returning for the playoffs may not be an issue if they continue to play as they did in Dallas.
