Here's how bad things are for the Repugs: A new Fox News poll released today shows the Dems actually widening their lead by 2 percentage points in the race for control of Congress since the last poll two weeks ago.

Must be all those lovely negative attack desperation ads backfiring, they have employed. What comes around goes around GOP.

Speaking of desperation attack ads, the Republican gubernatorial candidate here in Massachusetts is Kerry Healy, curently Lt Governor under that snake Mitt Romney, who's not renewing his lease.

Healey is trailing badly in the polls, so has been running some VERY nasty tv ads accusing Democratic contender Deval Patrick of supporting convicted rapists and cop-killers. Absolutely disgusting.

Then last Friday, some of her own people demonstrated in front of Patrick's house wearing prison jumpsuits. The antic offended virtually everyone in the state, and no doubt has actually lost her some votes.

The big news out of my parts here is that the Dick, Cheney, is flying into North Idaho sometime next week. This is pretty telling, and very interesting. Idaho as you should know, is pretty much a one party state, Repug. and I think its very interesting that he has to fly in, to prop up the local candidates. According to an article in my Spokesman-Review, he is not coming for any one specific endorsement, rather for a "rah-rah" get out the vote visit.....wow, Dick Cheney with poll numbers in the teens having to come out to help Repugs. in North Idaho????? Very, very interesting.....
