The Chair of the Richmond School Board is under attack for posting a personal ad on a gay site. Just wondering what your opinions may be?
NBC 12 Times Dispatch I think it is no one's business personally. If he was straight they would not be talking about it in the news. I feel as though he is under attack because he is gay. His picture wasn't explicit and the reason it is a big deal is because he listed his position (top/bottom)... What do you all think?

Is that all about the text that was explicit? The one article says nothing about it, and the other says that he put up a bare-chested photo which was not explicit but that the text describing him was "very graphic."
I would hope that a public official would have more smarts than to put up an online ad that's sex-oriented, whether gay or straight. The site in question doesn't sound like it's oriented towards dating and meeting new friends.

Should it be wrong? No. Is he a dumbass? Yes. But it is a damn shame when a lowly school board member can't even try to get laid without coming under fire.

sorry but it's very poor judgment for a public figure, especially one that holds political office to post personal ads
