Rather than having this serve as yet another example of the hypocrisy of some restrictive groups (and those who work for them), this will only wind up giving God-fearing, "morally straight" Boy Scouts supporters more ammo in their battle with gay people.

But I thought this person was/is a supposed heterosexual? How're they going to spin that fact?

Have you ever seen the "indian" outfits in those old Boy Scout manuals?? eek! Pederasty has dogged the BSA for decades, heck Baden-Powell himself favored the 'em young judging from his "art" photo undertakings. Abusing the young and impressionable for sexual satisfaction (whether active or passive) ranks as a horrendous crime in my book.
If the feds were involved, sounds like they've got more than just a stray image, probably hundreds or thousands.

Swiminbuff, you are correct. I believe the figure is 90 percent heterosexual, 10 percent homosexual when it comes to pediphiles. The issue completely disgusts me, which, I guess means I am not a pediphile. I just don't understand how sexual gratification can be obtained involving a child. I hope they throw the book at this creep.

I'm almost more interested in what Bruce D. Collins, corporate vice president and general counsel of C-SPAN, had to say in his original letter. Was he advocating for the Boy Scouts to be less aggressive in their defense of their status quo? It was a delightfully legalistic refusal to commit to a position while complaining about the situation.

Said in a southern drawl....

"We at the Boy Scouts of America along with the Priests Association, will accept child porn and molestation, but you better not be one those homo-secks-yools"
