Is Harry Carson ever going to end his speech?

I thought the HoF ceremony was great for the most part. The Reggie White thing still leaves a really bad taste in my mouth. It was hard for me to have sympathy for the untimely death.
I think Sportswriter Dave Zirin said it best with an excerpt from What's My Name, Fool?
According to the Minnesota Family Council, White became someone who "defends the family the same way he defended the goal line." This is a lie. As a player, Reggie White never ran away from a battle and worked to inspire his teammates to greater heights, liberating the Green Bay organization from decades of futility. As a "defender" of family values, he stood for bigoted ideas that keep humanity in chains. He supported the vilification of Gays and Lesbians instead of bringing people, "together as one force against hate," as White himself so eloquently put as he sorted through the burnt remains of his church,
I will miss Reggie White. He was a force of nature who changed the game with an unholy combination of speed, strength and smarts. But more than that I will miss seeing if there may have been another chapter in his life down the road, where he would have devoted his body and soul to standing against the moneyed bigots of this country, instead of alongside them.

I heard the widow White say something along the lines of "I hope that everyone would live theri lives like Reggie". So I guess Mrs. White would like a world full of racist hompohobes. At least Mel Gibson had to get drunk for us to find out what a loser he is. Reggie was stone-cold sober when he made those speeches.

I'm glad that Troy Aikman is going into the Hall of Fame. Ever since he played at UCLA, I fell in severe lust for him.
