Apparently, few people on this thread are too worried about the aircraft screeners losing the fake bomb. I think anybody who flies anywhere has "abyssmal security stories" YET how many planes have been hijacked or blown up in the U.S. since 9/11? Other than the guy with the explosives in his shoes...(and I'm grateful he didn't put the explosives anywhere else...) So, security, such as it is, is either preventing a lot of attacks, or there's just not that many effective, committed nutjobs around. Can it be that America is just plain paranoid up the ying yang? (That's a technical term for where sneaker-boy's explosives didn't go.)
Yeah Id go with the America is paranoid bit. I also wouldnt say security is any better. Terrorists just arent trying anything at the moment. Its not like they go out every day trying to put a bomb on a plane.
