Yesterday afternoon while perusing the tv channels, I was able to catch Jesse Ventura's new show on MSNBC, and gave it a listen. He has a small studio audience, and I assume its taped out of Minneapolis. Some of the topics of conversation was Arnolds' victory in California. An audience member suggested that the California victory for Arnold was due to a strong "anti-incumbant" mood there, that could play out in the Presidential election next year as well, which would be excellent for Howard Dean by the way. They also talked about illegal aliens, and focused on the problem with Arizona, and had on 2 guests taking stands for and against an anti-immigration ballot issue there, to be put before the voters. The other topic was concerning the strong possibility of the U.S. having another draft. Being a Democrat I can agree with some of the points of view Jesse offers, not all, but some, and the thing I admire about him is like he says, "you may not always agree with me, but I hope to make you think". He is forthright and speaks his mind. How refreshing.
