After Carson Palmer and Byron Leftwich, which quarterback will be drafted next?

I was shocked to hear reports that Ken Dorsey may not even be drafted at all. He had a lousy combine according to all the reports on ESPN and in the papers. Boller and Ragone supposedly really improved their stock at the combines.

"Lousy Combine"?....how 'bout a lousy Fiesta Bowl...maybe it's just carryover...
Doesn't surprise insiders...the same arguements for why he finished so low in the Heisman balloting are the reason he'll finish low in the draft if drafted at all....

He even looked sad against Grossman, Banks, and Palmer during the little challenge that they did during the SuperBowl.

ESPN pointed out that Seneca Wallace is adamant about staying a QB and didn't work out with the WRs. ESPN predicts that Wallace will play in Canada.
Who is Bryon Leftwich?

Who is Bryon Leftwich?
He was the QB for Marshall University and is widely considered one of the top pro prospects in this year's NFL draft.

Leftwich is THE top pro prospect. Maybe not number one pick but top five.

Ummm....isn't THE top generally mean Numero Uno...Not, Top 5....
It would be a mistake for any team, whether the Bengals or any team that trades for the #1 pick to select Carson Palmer. One good year doesn't make up for three mediocre ones. Besides, other than Charles Woodson, what recent Heisman Trophy winner have made that much of an impact in the NFL?

i agree RJ big time, Palmer had one good year and now it seems like hes the best qb over the last 5 or 6 years. I'm not sold on him at all. I do think the team that picks Willis McGhaee will get a steal , hes proven hes a great worker and has a lot of heart. i think hes going to be a great running back

OK. ENOUGH Ken Dorsey bashing in here. Yeah, Dorsey did not have as good a senior year as his junior year, but this kid has what it takes to make a franchise QB in the NFL. Just wait and see. Let all the dust settle and watch all the other rookie QB's die out of the NFL. Dorsey will be one of the few that will be left standing. WHY? Cause this kid has GUTS!!! And he is willing to play a team role. The lights dont have to be shining on him, there is no ego to this kid. He just takes his beatings, and keeps coming back. I feel sorry for Carson Palmer, cause that kid is going to get the stuffing knocked out of him in Cincinnatti. I hope for his sake, that they trade him to another team, or his NFL career will be short lived. Chris Simms will not last a year, as they will realize with him what Texas never could figure out, THIS KID CAN NOT WIN THE BIG GAME. He chokes every time. I only have to point to his career at Texas to prove that. Byron Leftwich, this guy has the guts and the talent to make it in the NFL. It will depend on what team takes him, but I expect to see him make a big splash in the NFL. Rex Grossman? He will do well IF, and only IF he goes to play under Steve Spurrier. Grossman can only play for coaches he likes. Those are my thoughts!!!
