I guess I missed this one, but Salon has letters responding to Andrew Sullivan's paean to Bush's (stuffed?) flightsuit crotch shots. G. Gordon Liddy and Chris Matthews also limned their own little hymns to Butch W's machismo too. Have these people ever heard of...ACTING? At any rate, here're the responses and the link.

I saw the pic on SNL. It seems to me that Bush has a little "Dubya of Finland" thing going on, if you know what I mean.

Crotch, smotch! If he'd show a more interesting ass-et I'd give him a post in the "Hot Jock Talk" section...maybe under "Hot pretend-paratroopers" or something. As for voting for him based on anything but his policies - gimme a break. I don't think even his supporters are that shallow.

I didn't know that male ballet dancers stuffed their crotches with socks...

I guess it's for comfort, control and uniformity of shape.

Does anyone remember, though, right after the election, The Daily Show had a clip of G.W. gloating with his wife. They were sitting, and he totally had a hard on. The staff even circled it and had an arrow pointing to it. He had a HUGE sh!t-eating grin on his face, too... It was an hysterical clip.

All I can say is eeeeeeewwwwwwwwwwwwww!
