hate to delve into the P&R morass, but this does have a football angle -- Kerry flubs it in Wisconsin by calling the Packer's home stadium "Lambert". Now even my mom -- who hated football -- knew that it's Lambeau of course. As the article points out it demonstrates that Kerry still has problems relating to Joe Six-Pack. He's seen as the Eastern Establishment Yalie windsurfing off of Nantucket.

It's LAMBEAU stupid!

Plus he talked about the damn Buckeyes while visiting Ann Arbor.

Bush is also a Yalie and a prep school graduate. Bush was even born in New Haven while Bush Sr. was attending Yale. Lets fact facts, Bush has more many more serious gaffes than Kerry.

Bucky, Kerry was given a 'pop culture' quiz by MTV and scored the best of all other politicians given the same quiz. He's noted to be a big baseball fan......

Perhaps he was thinking of St. Louis's airport, Lambert Field.

But you missed the best part. From the Post article:

QUOTE
In 1955, Packers Coach Lisle Blackbourn flirted with a talented young pro prospect in Massachusetts: Ted Kennedy, who now plays offensive line for the Kerry campaign.
Huh?

Yeah, I think Ted actually was a pretty good football player for Harvard, after they readmitted him.
