Anybody in a Super Bowl pool or make any other types of bets? I am in one pool, the same one I won last year that allowed me the $$$ to go to the convention in LA last year!!!
$15 a box and it pays out by quarter with $500 for the final score. The numbers I have are:
*Patriots 0, Panthers 0 (Pretty good #s)
*Patriots 7, Panthers 8 (Not winning here)
*Patriots 3, Panthers 1 (Or here!)
*Patriots 2, Panthers 6 (Or here!)

Your first two sets of numbers are very good. 14-13, 7-3, 13-7 and so on makes you a winner! Good luck Adam!!!

George, 3 and 1 isn't bad--especially towards the end of a game. 0 and 0 is terrific. I think it was two years ago that 0/0 won the third and fourth quarters?
Anyway, good luck to both of you with your boxes. Since I've got no betting interest this year, I'll be cheering for yours.

All it takes is a safety to put 2, 5 and 9 into play.
A third (or fourth) field goal also throws a wrench into your otherwise good scores. Considering these two defenses and kickers, one (or both) of these teams scoring multiple field goals is pretty likely.

Well my 0-0 ended up winning $250 for me! Okay so it doesn't allow me to put a down payment on that summer house in Martha's Vineyard, but still... wink

I was getting ready to do battle for my money at work. I had 9 and 9. If the game had went into overtime, in my opinion, I should have taken the money for the fourth quater.
