You know you're backing a loser when with 3 games remaining in the season, you're already looking at the schedule for next year.
The new scheduling rotation means that for next year the inter and intra conference play will be:
NFC East - NFC South, AFC East
NFC South - NFC East, AFC South
NFC North - NFC West, AFC West
NFC West - NFC North, AFC North
AFC East - AFC South, NFC East
AFC South - AFC East, NFC South
AFC North - AFC West, NFC West
AFC West - AFC North, NFC North
So, most of the schedule of the loser that I'm following is already in place.
Philadelphia - 2x
Dallas - 2x
NY Giants - 2x
Tampa Bay
New Orleans
Atlanta
Carolina
Miami
New England
NY Jets
Buffalo
The last two games are completely unknown. The Redskins are likely to finish third or fourth in the NFC East. They would play the teams that finish third or fourth in the NFC North and NFC West and that could be any one of three teams in both divisions.

Looks like we may finally see a Denver/Cleveland matchup, though the intensity of the rivalry's died since the days of John Elway and Marty Schottenheimer.

The Vikes could set a record for points allowed with the potential schedule. The Chiefs and Raiders are super powers, plus the Broncos and Chargers are no slouches on offense. Add on the 49ers and a healthy Rams team. And look what the Seahawks hung on the Vikes earlier this year! Its going to be a loooong 2003 season.

And the Redskins schedule is finally final:
Home: Dallas, N.Y. Giants, Philadelphia, New Orleans, Tampa Bay, New England, N.Y. Jets, Seattle
Away: Dallas, N.Y. Giants, Philadelphia, Atlanta, Carolina, Buffalo, Miami, Chicago
I hope the Chicago and Buffalo games are early in the season. And thank goodness, no West Coast trips. The furthest west they go is Chicago, other than Dallas.
