Dan Marino is at the top of my list. One of the most prolific QBs of all time but he never won the Super Bowl.

Has anyone ever found a good explanation for why he just up and quit like that? Pissed off at the Lions? Financially set and didn't want to be a cripple at the age of 45? ????

I'd have to say several members of the Bills of the early 90s....

Again, I'm in agreement with mdphl - I've always felt a bit sorry for Dan Marino for never winning the big one. And now he has to endure the strained, pushed, banter on CBS's pregame show.

Exactly. Just like Dan Marino, I endured many a painful postseason watching the Dolphins simply implode. The wrong team in Miami (Marlins) has been enjoying the big prize.
