The protesters' banners said: "Mugabe, torturer, criminal, homophobe," "Chirac, Perben, arrest Mugabe, he tortures Zimbabwean people," "Chirac, Perben, all Europe condemns you" and "Chirac, you are mixing with the wrong kind."

Mugabe should be arrested. If Britain could seize Pinochet, then France, under EU pretenses, could consider holding Mugabe. But France won't do this since it wants to have a free reign in Africa, its only real sphere of influence these days.

I say this somewhat sarcastically about France even though I do NOT agree with the current pitch of rhetoric about the country that's emanating from Washington.

As long as it rings true about France...

And, of course, Mugabe should be arrested.
