In his newest video, Bin Laden tells the American people "your security is not in the hands of Bush or Kerry, it is in your hands." Bin Laden also made a point to try to tell why Al Queda attacked on 9/11, and mentioned in a point to embarass Bush, that the President was reading a book on goats to children in Florida on the morning of 9/11. Too bad we didn't stay the course in Afghanistan and wipe out Bin Laden when we had the chance.

Bush made a speech today (apparently this morning) where he didn't once mention Kerry... and the entire speech was about 9/11 and "keepin' da tourists on da run. eh eh eh."
CNN was saying that it was the first time in weeks that Bush had made a speech based solely on terrorism and 9/11, and did not mention Kerry by name.
And then, magically, just a few minutes later, the videotape with Osama appears.
Karl Rove is a piece of work and I wonder how long this tape has been in his possession. Lower than low. Those repugs stop at nothing.

Karl Rove owns Al-Jazeera now? My, you people are just nuts.
Al-Jazeera's the one who had this tape. Duh!

Man, Osama makes more movies than Robert DeNiro or Nicole Kidman.

It's interesting that Bin Laden would release a tape like this so close to the election....his smart ass comments will probably invigorate Joe Six-Pack to head to the voting booths and pull the button for Bush...

Why? Bush doesn't think about him all that much, quite frankly.

He's not that concerned about him in his own words from 2 years ago.

As for George W Bush making a speech solely on terrorism, with no mention of John Kerry, just hours before the release of the latest Bin Laden tape, there's nothing conspiratorial or mysterious about it: US intelligence learned that Al-Jazeera had received a tape from Bin Laden. I despise Karl Rove as much as the next guy (and would dearly love a messy conspiracy to engulf him) but there's nothing to see here.
The tape itself could help Bush--poll numbers show he's the candidate most trusted to "lead the war on terror"--or Kerry, since Bin Laden's presence reminds voters that he still hasn't been caught, and voters could winder what, exactly, are US troops doing in Iraq instead of hunting down Bin Laden.

My thoughts exactly Adam. I hope this tape serves to remind Americans that Bush let the bastard go and stopped persuing the true enemy just to line his oil buddies pockets.
And I'm sure you neo-cons out there will say, that's what Osama wants

Now would be the opportune time to whip out the "I don't think about him" commercial.
