From UPI:

QUOTE
A former Bush team member during his first administration is now voicing serious doubts about the collapse of the World Trade Center on 9-11. Former chief economist for the Department of Labor during President George W. Bush's first term Morgan Reynolds comments that the official story about the collapse of the WTC is \"bogus\" and that it is more likely that a controlled demolition destroyed the Twin Towers and adjacent Building No. 7. Reynolds, who also served as director of the Criminal Justice Center at the National Center for Policy Analysis in Dallas and is now professor emeritus at Texas A&M University said, \"If demolition destroyed three steel skyscrapers at the World Trade Center on 9/11, then the case for an 'inside job' and a government attack on America would be compelling.\" Reynolds commented from his Texas A&M office, \"It is hard to exaggerate the importance of a scientific debate over the cause of the collapse of the twin towers and building 7. If the official wisdom on the collapses is wrong, as I believe it is, then policy based on such erroneous engineering analysis is not likely to be correct either. The government's collapse theory is highly vulnerable on its own terms. Only professional demolition appears to account for the full range of facts associated with the collapse of the three buildings.\"

where did he graduate with his engineering degree?

I'd like to hear how this brainiac knows, or why he thinks, the theory of the collapse is erroneous. And doesn't anyone question how a former economist for Labor has this knowledge?

My favorite shortwave radio conspiracy theorist, Alex Jones, has been saying this for nearly four years.

Checking Alex Jones's Infowars.com website, I see that Morgan Reynolds was interviewed on the show today (Wednesday, June 15). I wasn't listening, but the show will be rerun tonight. It will start at 10 p.m. EDT or 9 p.m. CDT.

Alex Jones's shortwave frequencies:

Reminder: You can always catch a repeat of Alex's daytime show from 1AM CST on GCN.

If you don't have personal Internet access, you can always catch the show by tuning into one of the affiliate stations in your area.
If this guy ever goes off the air, I'm selling my radios.

Alex Jones or Morgan Reynolds?

If I recall correctly, I witnessed the plane crashing into the second tower live, while it happened, while watching Good Morning America. Trust me, it caught the anchors by surprise, along with the rest of the nation. It looked pretty real to me, not the act of some planned demolition. The weight of the 747 and the pancaking of seven or eight floors of an office building would seem to me to be enough to destroy a building, but I am not an engineer. As much as I dislike President Bush, his administration, and his policies, I find it really, really hard to believe he somehow planned this whole horrible event. Stories like this belong in the National Enquirer and on late-night freak radio shows.

Morgan Reynolds I meant.

If he's right, the conspiracy theories are endless.....the idea of someone deliberately setting up the murder of 3K inviduals which leads to conflict that there seems to be no end to anytime soon is too galling to even think about

As I said earlier in another thread, I don't have a bit of trouble believing it. Someone needs to drag all their sorry asses to The Hague for trial. Black helicopters over Crawford, anyone?

Is that guy off his meds? You can find some one to say anything, can't you? I will now put forward my theory of the collapse of the Twin Towers: Termites. The impact of the airplanes was all that was needed to make them collapse. rolleyes.gif

I personally believe it was the gremlin from Looney Tunes who brought down the Towers. He tore up the planes first, which in turn rammed the Towers.

Morgan Reynolds and Alex Jones will be on Coast to Coast AM tonight (Thursday p.m. - Friday a.m.).

I guess he missed the History Channel's informative special not too long after 9/11 where they showed the design flaws of the Twin Towers and how this led to their inevitable collapse.
