George Soros and every other ultraleft-wing group pulled out all the stops to defeat an incumbent Democratic Congressman in south central Texas Tuesday. U.S. Rep. Henry Cuellar, who beat the former incumbent Ciro Rodriguez in 2004, handily beat him again this week.

Armed with photos of Cuellar and Bush together, Rodriguez and his army of left-wing nutjob supporters went all out in an attempt to recapture his seat.

Even the conservative Club for Growth endorsed Cuellar, the first time in its history the Club for Growth endorsed a Democrat.

The story.

Interesting things happenin' down there in the Lone Star state.

Things are about to turn upside down here again in more ways than one.

I counted 2 state house Republicans who didnt even win their primaries and 4 more headed to run offs. Nationally, Tom DeLay won his primary but only with 60%. So his seat race for November is now listed as "no clear favorite". Hes in trouble folks. Hes resorted to already invoking the name of Barbra Streisand against his Democratic opponent.

Oh the Dem side, the US senate race is headed to a runoff because some people in this state still vote for a guy named Gene Kelly, who does not campaign and does not speak to the media. He runs on the fact his name is Gene Kelly. So the lady who should have won, Barbara Ann Radnofsky, is now repeating the statement "The dancer is dead" so they wont vote for him again in the April 11th runoff. LOL

As for me, Im heading to my county convention March 25th and hopefully on to the state convention in June.

Getting 60% in a race that pitted two candidates against each other may have been considered weak for such a powerful politician like DeLay, but didn't he face more than one opponent? To get such a large percentage in a three or four-person race is rather impressive.

I must admit, I am rather shocked that DeLay got such a large percentage.
