Finally, we get some balance in this contest. Kerry begins to run his ads today,in about 18 battleground states, including my own, Washington State, and in contrast to the Repuglican ads, they are positive. What a revelation!

You can see all of the ads HERE.
PhillyFan
the bush mislead america looks pretty positive...
hockeyTom
Well gee, after the barrage of negative ads run by the Whitehouse we may have at have at least one ad less than positive, yes?

But I thought LCR had permanent possession of the almighty butt plug. You mean to say they have the rose coloured glasses as well?

So they're full of shit, and see it as a good thing?

eek!

Phillyfan is just jealous because all Canadians are covered under their health plan, while we have 45 million Americans who have no health care insurance. Oh the Irony! eek!

Sure is nice seeing John Kerry for Pres. commercials! Seen several now in the past hour. Right on John.

Attention PhillyFan: We are still patiently waiting for you to post something positive about your candidate, George W. Bush.

Let me guess, your response will be a personal attack against someone on this board.. anything but answering the question directly.

Tick. Tick. Tick. We are all patiently waiting for your enlightenment.

Honey:

2 days before Christmas my husband had to call an ambulance as I woke up shitting blood.

Time for abulance to arrive at the house? 1.5 minutes.

Cost? $0.00

Time to Hospital? 10 minutes

Time at hospital to check in? ZERO

Time to wait in emergency room? ZERO

Wait time for Doctor to see me? 5 minutes.

Cost for Hospital visit, antibiotics, reference to Gastroenteroligist, colonoscopy, 2 follow up visits to Hospital.

$0.00

Total WAITING TIME in Hospital. Over all three visits?

Maybe 20 minutes in TOTAL.

Total cost to Grant? $25.00 for Taxi ride home after Colonoscopy.

But it will be reimbursed by my insurance at work.

One more thing PhillyFan sweetums:

The hospital that I went to is a regional hospital.

And they are spending 750 MILLION dollars to double the size of the Hospital over the next year, to IMPROVE service.

Hey, if Dubya is appointed again this November we all might need to check out Canada. Sounds like a great place to me. It would take some getting use to since I live in sunny and very warm Florida. But since we have governor pumpkin head "jeb" it might be easier to give up Florida. biggrin.gif

This is about the level of ignorance for people whose main source of political information is Rush (Is that the drugs talking?) Limbaugh.
hockeyTom
Lksimcoe, you don't have to defend youself, I and many others know something about your health care system, and I think its overall preferable to the health care crisis down here.Sure, ours is wonderful if you are a millionaire! Now I hear where Medicare is in deep do do, and will be insolvent in about 8 or 9 years! Gee what a shock, and then of course Shrub underestimated by a couple hundred of billions of dollars or so the actual costs of the so called Mediscare reform bill that passed this year. Biggest reason? Probably the skyrocketing cost of drugs in the U.S. who has no cost control provided on same, but Canada does.

This is quite simple raze...

1. Lowered my taxes.

2. Lead the nation through the worst terrorist attack ever imaginable. Which had a crushing effect on the economy.

3. He doesnt pander to tree huggers.

4. Working on imigration reform.

5. Cut my taxes.

6. Will not be lead around by some group of nations from Africa who cant feed their own people, but can tell America what we should or should not do. Why still looking for a free handout from us.

7. No child left behind.

8. Wants to FIX SS by allowing people to invest in something that will make money.

9. Put the world on notice that if you support terror, you will pay the price.

And most important, He drives you people CRAZY. Looking at some of the ideas that you loons have, thats a good thing.

However, 2 points.. of bad

1. He should not pander to the conserv right, cause if he pushes the gay marriage... he will lose the election.

2. I dont think he's killed enough of the sand heads who wish to do us harm.
RazorbackTX
Hold on PhillyFan

You already said you werent going to vote for Bush, and we all know what a man of your word you are....

Are you "flip flopping?"

Uh, PF, that makes no sense.
I asked you to tell us something positive about your candidate and you come back with "positives" about Bush.

What gives? Now you say you're not voting for him?
PhillyFan

Aren't they the same thing? Anything to make a list one line longer, I guess. When John Kerry is elected, if you make less than $200,000 your tax rate will stay the same!
