Take a look at this artist rendering of the proposed building and tell me if it doesn't look like a super double-wide mobile home on stilts. Should fit in nicely in Arkansas.

All that's missing is a former presidential limo on blocks in the front yard

Is that a subscription-only site? I couldn't get my browser to pull up anything but the MSNBC banner. At any rate, shouldn't this thread be in P&R?

Hey, MarcusF
I'm not really taking any political shots, just architectural.

If the other link gives you trouble, try this one which is actually more unflattering.

I'd have to see it up close for a decision. I've been to two presidential libraries, LBJ's and Truman's. I don't remember much about the exterior of the Truman library, but the LBJ library and couryard outside it looks like a parlaiment building from a futuristic thriller. In fact I've always had a dream of filming exterior shots for the sequel to Logan's Run there. The pictures of the Clinton library don't seem to be very good as pictures go. Certainly the current fashion in architecture is minimalist when it comes to exteriors. This design reminds me a bit of the Milwaukee museum of art.

NO this is fab...

Not only is it a tribute to the fine folks of Arkansas.... it's also a tribute to Monica!

I wonder if they still plan to have the McD's in there?
