Republican Rep. Marilyn Musgrave sent a mass e-mail Friday seeking campaign money to fight what she called a \"radical homosexual agenda\" to oust her because she sought a constitutional ban on gay marriage.
The letter from the first-term congresswoman cited television ads from a group calling itself Coloradans for Plain Talk, which receives financial support from a software entrepreneur, a state Board of Education member and a health care heiress. One ad shows a Musgrave look-alike stealing a watch from a corpse while referring to her vote against barring nursing homes from charging fees after a patient dies.

The twist is "that software entrepreneur." Although a Google seach for Coloradans for Plain Talk comes up, to my great surprise, empty-handed, I am absolutely certain that the software entrepreneur could only be Tim Gill, the founder of Quark Express. Tim Gill is an avid snowboarder, and in fact, he backs OutBoard, a site of interest to gay and lesbian snowboarders. OutBoard member Fluffy the Snowboarding Wonder Dog sends me an e-birthday card every year.Oct. 15, 2004 | Fort Collins, Colorado --

When he's not snowboarding, Gill runs the Gill Foundation.
