Thousands of pro Franco supporters rallied in Madrid. They want Spain to be white, anti gay, pro Catholic and anti Jew and anti Muslim. The recent decision to allow gay marriages and adoptions in Spain has rallied the far right. These fascists are a real threat. It's horrible how the fascist right represented by these Franco types are spreading all over the European continent. They start with their white supremacy ideas and soon start bashing all groups.

We're there any sightings of Pat Robertson, James Dobson, or Tony Perkins? Sounds just like their kind of people.

Pat Robertson and the like claim to love all races so I don't expect them at such rallies. But I see a definite similarity between fascism and the U.S. Christian right.

I thought I saw somewhere that a number of these demonstrators were marching goose-step style in the streets. (?) If that's the case, they probably won't win sympathy from the public majority, but instead give themselves an image of extremists.
