As usual, Ivins put out a good thought and idea provoking column this morning talking about what did and did not happen last week. She feels, and the more I think about it, the more I agree, that Bill Clinton, if he would accept, would be the ideal person to head up the D.N.C. I was in favor of Howard Dean in a post the other day, but Molly said the Clinton idea was started by an editorial in the L.A. Times. AS far as the minority leader she suggests Chris Dodd, or even better yet Diane Feinstein.

As for Hillary in 2008, Molly thinks she is to "divisive", and that she worries about Hillary's safety.

Looking back, she said the Repugs. had a much better get out the vote, while the Dems. blew it and waiting until the last few months.

Anyone else read Molly's column this morning? Good one. She ripped the Repugs. for their moral stand regarding the changing of the rules to protect that sleezbucket Tom Delay to protect him, should he be indicted. Tell it like it is Miss Molly!!
