Is this something that's dangerous? I'm talking about his condition...we already know he is.

I've known two guys who wound up in hospital with pancreatitis. Apparently the pain can be excruciating - they both had to be medicated so they could stand it. Oddly, both of them are PWA's and developed pancreatitis as a side effect of the drug cocktails they take to control their illness. I hope Ashcroft's OK soon.

Pancreatitis? Interesting I'd understood that that was a disease usually found in hard-core alcoholics.

Not to gloat on this guy's misfortunes, but BostonGirl and I were surmising that perhaps God put those kidney stones in and named them: "This one is called the PATRIOT Act, this one is called Improper Subpoena of Hospital Records, this one..." eek!

Yeah, we're probably going to Hell ourselves for even thinking that...

GJ, I understood the same thing about an enlarged pancreas.....alcohol. As a member of Assembly of God, Ashcroft believes alcohol and its fans are evil.....as well as dancing. When he was our governor, the inagaral balls (two of them, ugh) were dry affairs. He and his wife also sat-out the traditional first dance. He played the piano instead. Do you think he is a closet drinker and closet dancer?

i think there's only one thing to do -- subpoena his medical records and see if he is being treated for pancreatitis alone, or if they are also drying him out!

I wonder if Ashcroft will anoint himself with a bowl of Crisco oil before the surgery?

Your comment reminds me of an episode of an old TV Medical show, (and no, I don't remember the name), where a racist came in as an emergency, and had a rare blood type. They had to do emergency surgery, and the man was unconcious.

And the only person who could save him was black, and she gave blood.

It taught a good lesson, and was funny to watch the racist squirm at the end of the show.

Maybe the Attorney General will get gay blood?

Even better...blood from a gay black woman who dresses regularly as a man for a stage show and she shares a home with another woman and their two adopted children.

The idiot is out of surgery...I wonder if they extricated his head from his ass while he was in surgery?
