I just finished reading "How the Republicans stole Christmas" by Bill Press. I would like to reccomend this book to anyone interested in religion and politics. I found that I agreed almost completely with what he had to say and it also has a whole chapter defending gays and lesbians.
The primary objective of the book is to dispell alot of what the ultra right wing politicians and religious leaders spew around. While supporting his views with biblical and contitutional backup.
As a side note I picked up this book in Rehoboth Beach over the Thanksgiving holiday. The local bookstore there had Mr. Press in for a short talk and book signing, it was nice to meet him and have him sign my copy..
